Liberty (AGTR-5) Division Provides Color Guard Service Honoring the US Naval Armed Guards


Ridge, NY – 22 November 2009: Congressman Tim Bishop hosted in conjunction with the American Legion Post 1887, a Congressional Recognition Ceremony for the members of the Long Island Chapter of the United States Naval Armed Guard to formally acknowledge their honorable Naval Armed Guard service with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition signed by their Member of Congress.

Members of the Liberty (AGTR-5) Division Honor Guard presented the colors in honor of these Navy Veterans who gave their whole in defense of this nation during World War II.
