RSVP

The standard procedures for joining Liberty (AGTR5) Division is a three-phase process.

1. The potential Cadet, accompanies by at least one parent or guardian, must attend an orientation during which, the Commanding Officer or one of his staff will provide an overview of the Naval Sea Cadet Program and answer any questions the Cadet or parents hay have.

2. After receiving a briefing on the unit, the Cadet is required to attend one weekend drill (Saturday and Sunday) in order that he/she can see, first-hand, what we do and have the opportunity to talk to other Cadets who are in the program. This gives the recruit the opportunity to spend some time with our cadets to evaluate if this is something he/she wants to do.

3. If, after the briefing and weekend evaluation, the recruit decides that this is the program for him/her, we can begin to process the paperwork to enroll the recruit.

Since the Division drills on an active Armed Forces Reserve Facility, it is important that we know you will be visiting us. Please fill out the RSVP form above and submit it so that we can send you a visitor pass and directions to the Sea Cadet office. You may be denied entry to the facility if you do not have a visitor's pass. Once your RSVP is received you will be sent a visitor's pass attached to an email. You will need to print the pass and bring it with you. The pass is only good for the day for which it is dated. If you do not have a computer/printer, let us know you will need to make other arrangements.
